Brad Haggen
Brad Haggen has spent a lifetime in the food industry including 35 years with Haggen, Inc., once the largest privately held supermarket chain in the Northwest with sales approaching $900 million. He held various positions of increasing responsibility including store operations management, food service management, led advertising/marketing/loyalty marketing, and created new business units within Haggen, including a new smaller store concept, catering division and TerraVida Coffee with numerous retail locations including CPG and bulk programs. During the last ten years at Haggen, Brad was also a member of the Executive Staff, Retail Advisory Team and Store Design Team.
Since selling his interest in Haggen, Inc., Brad has continued to participate in the food industry by working and consulting with both established and emerging domestic and international food brands. As EVP of Jovan’s Natural Foods, he directed the company’s efforts to distribute natural CPG products on a national scale before transitioning to Waypoint Marketing Group as COO and currently managing the sales efforts of eleven brands with national distribution.
Brad received his BA from Western Washington University and a certificate in Food Industry Management from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business. He continues to travel the world learning about current food trends and has been a member/participant of CIES, an international food business forum, Food Marketing Institute and Western Association of Food Chains.
