Dr. Jay Yogeshwar is a global media executive and a subject matter expert in the fields of Broadcast, Digital Video, Streaming, Immersive, Interactive and Over the Top Television. He is the founder of Media Translation Inc., a media-tech venture helping companies with non-disruptive transition from Enterprise Tape and legacy storage to Object Storage and Cloud technologies.

Prior to founding Media Translation, Dr. Yogeshwar managed the Technology Alliance and Solutions portfolio for Hitachi Vantara (formerly Hitachi Data Systems). As a global lead for their M&E practice, he was responsible for their media vision and direction that transformed Hitachi from a traditional Enterprise Storage and IT Platforms Company to a mobility, cloud and big data analytics company. Prior to that, he was the founder and CTO of Front Porch Digital, a broadcast and video content storage management software firm and a Research Scientist at Toshiba Advanced Television Research.

Awards and credits include technical Emmy for DVD technology, twenty US patents in media technologies, presentations and membership in prestigious professional organizations such as IEEE, SMPTE, IBC and the International Emmy’s.
