Nils-Michael Langenborg
Nils-Michael Langenborg has over 30 years of marketing and brand-building experience, with the last 20 years focusing exclusively on the natural and organic products industry.
For the past 20 years, he has been intimately involved in the natural and organic products industry, more recently with Lundberg Family Farms, which specializes in organic rice products. He currently serves as President and CEO of Whole Health Marketing, a marketing consultancy for triple-bottom line brands. Clients include Numi Organic Tea, Good Earth Natural Foods, Zulka, Woodstock Farms, Blue Evolution Foods, Simply Native Foods, and Earth Essence.
He received a greenMBA from Dominican University of California, which focuses on the total enterprise and its requirement to adopt sustainable business practices. He also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing (Advertising minor) from San Francisco State University.
He held faculty positions at Dominican University of California, where he taught entrepreneurial finance in the Green MBA program, and also at the University of California at Berkeley Extension program, where he taught a course in green leadership based on the work of Adam Smith with a focus on his first book, The Theory of Moral Sentiments (1759).
He is also involved with the local chapter of the Sierra Club, Audubon Society, The Commonwealth Club, Greenbelt Alliance, Sonoma Land Trust, Redwood Empire Food Bank, Sustainable Santa Rosa and other community-focused non-profits.
